These are modern tanks manufactured from food-grade AISI 304 stainless steel, alloy with chemical formula BA X5NiCr 18/10, meaning without ferritic content, featuring an inclined flat bottom and used for the storage or fermentation of wines, with capacities ranging from 1,700 to 12,000 L. They can also be successfully used for storing other alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages, including edible oils, as well as for must fermentation. The ARIA S inclined flat-bottom tanks are equipped with 3 or 4 legs and both bottom and side outlets.
These tanks are equipped, for airtight sealing, with a floating lid fitted externally with an inflatable gasket operated by means of an attached pump. This assembly ensures that the lid remains at the wine level, eliminating any air layer, while allowing vertical movement up or down in order to store different wine quantities in the same container without oxidation occurring. The floating lid is equipped with a one-way valve to facilitate the release of any accumulated gases.
They are manufactured as cylindrical containers with different diameters and heights depending on capacity, as shown in the table below:

Standard equipment (included):
- Stainless steel floating lid with food-grade plastic air chamber, one-way valve, and pump with pressure gauge
- 1 welded stainless steel sleeve at the bottom of the tank
- 1 stainless steel tube with welded sleeve positioned at the lowest point of the inclined bottom for bottom drainage
- 2 chrome-plated brass ball valves with drip tray (for tanks up to 1,000 L), 2 stainless steel ball valves (for tanks from 1,500 L and above)
- Support arm, tasting valve, and level indicator (for tanks from 1,500 L and above)
- Stainless steel support for ladder resting (for tanks from 2,000 L, Ø 1,150, excluding the 2,000 L Ø 1,320 version)
- Stainless steel legs welded to the tank base
