OENOCOL SOFT is recommended for the treatment of wines where fining is required to improve clarity, enhance smoothness, and reduce excessive astringency without altering the wine’s structure. It is a gelatin characterized by a medium surface charge and excellent clarifying power, making it suitable for the fining of musts, wines, and vinegars whenever effective clarification is desired without affecting the polyphenolic structure of the treated product.
OenoCol Soft is particularly recommended for premium wines intended for aging or wines matured in oak barrels.
RECOMMENDED DOSAGES
White musts or wines:
10–30 g/hL as a fining agent, in combination with silica sol and/or bentonite. For best results, the recommended sequence is to add the silica sol first, followed by the gelatin.
Red wines:
20–40 g/hL as a clarifying or detannizing agent.
PACKAGING
The product is available in 1 kg bottles, 5 kg and 25 kg containers, and 1,200 kg bulk tanks.
